RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met the Gulf Cooperation Council’s Secretary-General Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi on Monday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Discussions focused on collective Gulf initiatives and provided updates on regional and international developments, highlighting the ongoing efforts in these areas.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral International Affairs.
Prince Faisal met his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani on the same day to chair the preparatory committee meeting for the third session of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council.
The officials reviewed the council’s progress and provided updates on the outcomes of its subsidiary committees. The meeting also focused on bilateral and multilateral coordination on issues of mutual interest.
