RIYADH: Saudi Arabia and Thailand signed a free trading agreement on Aug. 29 during the Saudi-Thai Business Forum organized by the Council of Saudi Chambers.
Additionally, the two parties signed agreements to facilitate commercial procedures and to establish a Saudi-Thai Business Council, according to the CSC’s tweet.
“The governments of Saudi Arabia and Thailand are keen to exploit the economic potential and promising investment opportunities,” the council’s president, Ajlan Ajlan, said.
He added that Saudi Vision 2030 and its initiatives are an important key to facilitating economic cooperation between the two countries.
This came during the Saudi-Thai Business Forum, which saw the participation of senior officials and more than 300 business leaders from the two countries.
