Asir Gov. Prince Turki bin Talal on Thursday launched several technical projects within the comprehensive development plan for the region.
The projects included new health and work e-services, such as requests for treatment and booking appointments, and an e-system for attendance and leave, which allows workers to submit leave and present time and attendance records.
Prince Turki also launched a cybersecurity and technical security system to protect technical infrastructure, information assets and users from inside and outside the province.
The system will help to maintain the confidentiality of communication and information security and aid the implementation of the standards of the National Cybersecurity Authority.
The development covered the province’s portal, which includes the media and service interface, as well as the developments and the region’s news.
The portal’s strategy focuses on managing communication between the province, governorates and affiliated centers and strengthening domestic tourism by providing touristic and cultural information and guides.
Prince Turki also initiated the launch of the e-transactions system that is dedicated to the automation and documentation of trade transactions between departments and their partners in Asir and beyond.
