In the last 24 hours, international news agencies have reported that Iraqi air defences have prevented attacks by kamikaze drones against Ayn al-Assad.

Today the BBC international correspondent Nafiseh Kohnavard published on Twitter the moment when a US air defence system installed at the Ayn al-Assad base shot down another drone – a kamikaze.

As the BBC correspondent reports, the system that appears to have been used by the US air defence is the Coyote, a system manufactured by Raytheon.
