A Lebanese Hezbollah drone appears to be the cause of the downing of an Israeli military helicopter off the coast of Haifa.

As defencenet. gr reported yesterday, an Israeli military helicopter crashed in the area of the Israeli city of Haifa while three people were on board.

Two were recovered dead and the third is in intensive care.

To date there is no official information on the cause of the crash but unconfirmed information from Russian sources suggests that the helicopter may have crashed after a collision with an unidentified drone and literally hours before that there had been clashes between Lebanese Hezbollah and the Israeli Army.

According to Israeli media reports, moments before the Israeli helicopter crashed, the pilot managed to report that the helicopter was in danger.

After that, it crashed. At the same time, photography and video recording in the area of the search and rescue operation was prohibited.

The model of the helicopter was a Eurocopter Panther.

This helicopter is used in many military operations, while the Israeli Navy currently has seven Eurocopter

It is known that a few hours before what happened on the Lebanese-Israeli border, there were clashes between Israeli security forces and members of the armed group Hezbollah.

Russians and Israelis believe that a Hezbollah drone was the cause of the helicopter crash.
